GREEN GROUP ACCELERATOR
AGRI-FOOD EDITION

Green Group is an informal group of six countries, united through strong international environmental engagement: Cabo Verde, Costa Rica, Iceland, Singapore, Slovenia and the United Arab Emirates. The Group's mission is to promote green policies in the international arena, with a special focus on ecosystem restoration, climate change, water challenges, food security and ocean protection. The Group connects multiple stakeholders from the six countries: policy makers, business, academia, science and civil society. It pools their knowhow and makes it available to the global community to support the green transition.

In 2023, the Group launched a new accelerator programme to foster innovative business solutions that can help global community adapt to climate change. The Green Group Accelerator helps start-ups level up their solutions through a tailor-made programme and networking with industry partners, financial advisors, potential investors and clients. Its up-to-four-month training culminates in a pitching day in front of policy makers, business and investor community. The programme will take place once per year, each time with a different thematic focus.

Its first Agri-Food Edition focuses on innovative, environment-friendly agri-food solutions. It is part of the preparations for COP28 in Dubai, where the pitching day will take place on 10 December 2023, the Food, Agriculture, and Water thematic day.
